This is an addition to the review I wrote 4 months ago. In the end, this firm cost me $2700 in penalties from the IRS.
This year was my first time using Apex. My accountant sold his customer list to them. They finally filed my return on August 19. During that time, I was only able to speak to someone once and I had to make an appointment and wait a week for a phone call. Other than that, they did not answer the phone or respond to messages. I can't imagine how they hope to stay in business given my experience and the reviews here. I certainly wouldn't recommend them.
