The french fries were unbelievable. I had the forger burger. It was a tempura fried wild mushroom sandwich. It was incredible and they had gluten-free bread.
My husband and I came here not really knowing what to expect, but we were blown away! The building/atmosphere is incredible. The trees are all lit up outside, the dining area is stunning, the view is spectacular, and that's all before we even get to the food itself. Our server (shout out to Lindsey!) was phenomenal. She took great care of us - checking in frequently and ensuring our experience was top tier. Great Food Great service. We got in on a friday evening, and the first thing we wanted after a long flight and a distant drive from SLC Airport was something to eat. Our Drive that we had from All Seasons VIP Transportation in SLC recommended apex since it was alreayd in the hotel we where staying at we decided ok we would wait to get food till we got up the mountian. This was my first time at Apex Steak and it was such a great experience! The food tasted amazing and the presentation was impeccable. The sourdough bread loaf was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Melted in my mouth with the honey butter. Disappointing experience as we booked for Sunday brunch according to the website. When we arrived we were told for “some reason” brunch wasn’t being served on this day. What 5-star resort on a Sunday Father’s Day doesn’t offer a unique brunch celebration. A notice on the website would have been nice esp since the brunch was highly rated. Instead, we were greeted with what I would call standard bar fare. Service was slow. On a plus, highly recommend nachos on the menu!
