Former Employee here: Some of the staff members are amazing and go above and beyond for the residents as if it were their own family members. Unfortunately, some of the staff members are completely trash and treat the residents as if they are completely a burden. The corporate office is aware, but does nothing about the poor behaviors of the staff or management. They turn a blind eye to all of it, and pretend to be surprised when IDPH comes in. I visited someone there. Only my second time , worse than the first. The persons at the front deck was very nice… both of them. The bathroom for visitors, locked, Someone had to “ let me in” . I couldn’t be trusted with the code… really… why? It was very dirty and smelling. Garbage on the floor, sinks and toilet dirty, if the guest on dirty… what does people who live there’s bathrooms look like? Wish I could give 0 stars. My wife’s/mother in laws grandfather was here and he was neglected resulting in him having to be put in hospice. If you love your family members, do not encourage this facility.
