Would have picked 0 stars if it were an option. This facility is a joke. Management does not listen and/or attempt to make positive necessary changes. Food is horrible and not appropriate for older adults. Hot water was not available for bathing. Night shifts were understaffed. These issues are unsafe and violate health, sanitation, and safety laws.

Aperioncare International on 48 and Western in Chicago need to hire Spanish Speaking staff so that our elderly residents can comunícate better with them without being ignored by other staff who don’t speak it. Better food needs to be given. The food is horrendous and the smell in this place is horrible. Please please, this place needs to be looked at.

It is so dirty. Disrespectful employees. Low amount of protein in food. There are some good employees but they have too much going on to barely complete the job at hand. Food almost never in safety zone.(temperature 145+) Stale food etc. We do not have Nurse Practitioner and have lost our counselors. They left a resident in the elevator for over 10 hours recently.
