Terrible place to have your loved ones.They don’t care about the residents,just as long ,as they get there money coming in.They had these elders living with bed bugs and the kitchen had cockroaches.You have CNAS that aren’t qualified doing wound cares.They are short staffed that the residents have to wait almost an hour before a CNA comes to attend them.Please don’t put your loved ones in the Dekalb,Il facility.

Would have picked 0 stars if it were an option. This facility is a joke. Management does not listen and/or attempt to make positive necessary changes. Food is horrible and not appropriate for older adults. Hot water was not available for bathing. Night shifts were understaffed. These issues are unsafe and violate health, sanitation, and safety laws.

Aperioncare International on 48 and Western in Chicago need to hire Spanish Speaking staff so that our elderly residents can comunícate better with them without being ignored by other staff who don’t speak it. Better food needs to be given. The food is horrendous and the smell in this place is horrible. Please please, this place needs to be looked at.
