boo to this borker I would give this broker a big thumbs down. When I was desparately looking for a place, this guy showed me an apartment that he promised was open and available. Even though there was furniture in it, he assured us that the tenant was about to move out any day and that I would be able to move in within a week. So I gave my 2 months security deoposit and filled out the application and waited. Five days later, he told me that the apartment had been rented to someone else.
Not the best place to find the time of day....... I found this particular apartment finding business to be fairly disorganized and not so helpful for a number of reasons: The apartment broker seemed like he was doing us a great favor instead of his job as we visited apartments. As we barged into apartments unannounced in order to 'take a look' it seemed like his professional contacts with the landlords themselve were slim.
