Doctor Mahakala is amazing! As a 20 year old, recently aging out of pediatric diabetes care, I was a bit nervous about finding a doctor who would be right for me. Since my first appointment in December of 2025, my health has improved drastically. My a1c is the lowest it has ever been since being diagnosed 10 years ago. In my past appointment, I left feeling great. Her passion for her patients and wanting them to be good and healthy makes me feel so comfortable and safe. She does not make me feel bad because of my health but makes plans to improve it.
I was struggling so much with my a1c. Dr. Mahakala helped turn my health / diabetes around. Her kindness, but most of all the concern in her voice as she explained just how bad I was and how crucial my situation was helped open my eyes and get me pointed on the right track.
