I king fish on the pier. The pier is the best pier in Myrtle Beach and the people that w work there are excellent. The proplem is I pay $20.00 to fish on the end of the pier. The bottom fisherman only pay $9.00 anf are allowed to fishoom the end also. I feel having to pay the price I pay to fish for kings, the bottom fisherman should not be allowed on the end of the pier. THIS IS A GRATE PLACE 2 STAY ME AND MY FAMILY HAS BEEN COME HERE 4 YEARS SENCE I WAS A NEW BORN AND I AM 22 NOW!!!! WE LOVE THIS PLACE AND WILL ALWAYS STAY HERE!!! COMEING DOWN JULY 3RD!!! WE R THE SYKES FAMILY CANT WAIT 2 COME DOWN 4 A WEEK IN JULY :)
Our family stayed in one of the so called vacation rentles we spent alot of money on this place in the range of $1600.00 for the week on a place that had broken down beds, broken appliances, and smelled of cat urin!!!! Sand spurs inbedded in the carpet and the sofa was damp and molded it looked nothing like the advertised vacation rentle it looked like a 1966 back woods trailer put togather from spare parts!!! Dog poop bags laid on the side of the road the whole week we where there with giant flies swarming around them..... ... read more
Good quality for the price unfortunately I don't camp there but, it is a great place to spend the day. The fishing is very good & entertaining.I would love to spend every day of my life on the pier.Over the years ,I have met some really nice people on the pier as well as at the bait shop.Apache Pier is a great place.
A local favorite of mine We stayed here last summer and had a great time the price is great and lots of family fun. Staff was very nice. bathhouses could use a little work but everything else was great. we are coming back in july and are bringing the whole family. looking forward to coming back. We have not tryed any other camps around M.B. and probaply won't this is the way to go. See Ya'll in July !!!!
The best decision I ever made! Me again, this past summer I had to stay at Pirateland, YUCK, very rude staff. I almost didn't come to M.B. at all because I could not get a place at Apache!:( My own fault for waiting till the last min. But I am about to get my spot now for this July!!!!!! I love this place, Myrtle Beach is not the same if we can't stay with you all at Apache. See you in July!!!!
RENTALS ARE FALLING APART! PEOPLE ARE HATEFUL We paid almost 1500.00 to stay there and everything we touched fell apart. The people that ran the pier were hateful, and they did not tell us that we had to put a 100.00 deposit on the golf cart rental when we paid for it a month before we came. When we went to pick it up we had to give them 100.00 of our spending money. This trip was a disaster.
