I went to AP General Motors for a $49 WOF they were advertising on GrabOne (they told me to pay directly instead of buying the voucher). After an hour, they called saying my car needed at least $800 in extra repairs — including a broken bump stop and replacing both front brake rotors. I was suspicious and went to AA Auto Centre for a second opinion. AA confirmed the bump stop needed replacing but said the brake rotors were completely fine and nowhere near needing replacement.
