Absolutely love this place—I recommend to everyone I know! Kayla, the owner, has done my hair for many years and I would follow her anywhere—she’s always made me happy with every haircut, color and extension appointment I’ve ever booked. If you’re thinking of giving this salon a shot, don’t sleep on it! This is your sign. :)
I have never had my hair professionally done with anything more than just a cut. I decided I wanted a drastic change and considered getting extensions so I could play around without damaging my own hair. Good work but charges $400 for a highlight and cancels or moves appointments with little to no communication before. Also the turnover rate is crazy, they have lost atleast 6 stylists in the past year and I can’t seem to keep a stylist.
I cannot say enough great things about Aorist and my stylist, Lael. The space is so aesthetically pleasing (hello, plants!) with the warmest vibe. Lael is incredibly skilled and detail-oriented, but is also so patient with all of my questions. She is kind, lively, a great listener, and so easy to talk to even when I'm feeling introverted. I truly look forward to each appointment and always leave feeling confident and filled with so much joy!
Lael is the BEST!!! I have been done dirty by so many different salons and stylists and she truly makes me want to come in for a cut. She listens to what you want, doesn’t force anything and will help you feel out the vibe of where to go with your hair. I’ve also just been to her for trims and it is exactly what I want everytime!! The salon itself is also great, and welcoming.
