Every time we're in the area, we always make a stop. Love the atmosphere. The owners are the sweetest and chats with everyone that comes thru. Definitely a must if you're driving thru Chico or close to the area. They also have vegan options.
Absolutely incredible experience at Aonami in Chico. Alyssa made the night even better with her warm personality, great energy, and spot-on recommendations. Every dish she suggested was amazing and you can tell she genuinely cares about creating a great guest experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish, and the service made it memorable. Best sushi in town, super fresh seafood and accommodating to their customers. After years of delicious dinners the quality has stayed top notch! The Nigiri is so freaking good! Friendly staff. It’s been a long time coming—I’m not sure why it’s taken me this long to put this into words. We’ve been coming here for 8 years, and it’s more than just a sushi spot to us. This is where my husband and I learned to truly appreciate nigiri—the simplicity, the quality, the intention behind every piece. Went to this place and told they were out of rice. But was visibly serving people with rice. The waiter seemed to clearly not business, not going here again.
