Required medical paperwork for reimbursement for canceled trip was available online and once submitted the reimbursement was surprisingly fast. I am very pleased with the service.
My husband and I purchased a cruise with land tour of Denali through NCL. I also purchased trip insurance from NCL through AON Affinity. The first day of the land tour, I fell departing the bus due to the drop off from black top to gravel. It required a 2 1/2 ambulance ride to Fairbanks AK. The ambulance ride cost $3000 of which I had to pay $275. The moment my trip was canceled, I contacted them. It’s been a month since my claim was filed & I still haven’t received my refund. They made me jump through hoops to get it. They don’t return calls, they have the foreigners with the language barriers, can’t understand what they’re saying. Everything they need from you, gives a longer time to process the claims. My wife and I planned a cruise to celebrate the end of her cancer treatments. At the time we booked our cruise she was not experiencing the side effects anywhere close to what she was after the treatments were over. On top of that, she tested positive for Covid three weeks prior to the cruise. Her oncologist told her that she should not proceed with the cruise. This was documented and forwarded to AON.
