Fracking?! A bank that funds oil & gas projects despite the ever increasing environmental and climate risks is just plain irresponsible. Divest! ANZ is to be avoided at all costs.
Thank goodness this one hasn’t disappeared yet! Though on this particular visit both atm’s were under maintenance. There was a staff member by the door who directed me to the desk staff. Desk staff didn’t know about the maintenance and told me to go use the atm to deposit money. I explained the situation and then was told that I couldn’t deposit make a deposit at the desk. Had to work out myself that she just meant I couldn’t deposit into a Plus account but I could into an everyday account. Had to look up details myself for ... read more
Neat and clean branch, friendly staff. Pity that ANZ management are planning to finance the pipeline pumping dirty gas from the Beetaloo Basin for export - fracking in the Beetaloo Basin puts at risk the aquifers which provide 90% of the NT's water supply - and when the gas is burned anywhere in the world it heats the climate which we all share - causing fires in Canada and Spain, heat deaths across Europe, huge reductions in the wheat crop and melting glaciers and we're next for a hot summer! Terrible service. Just went in to ask a very simple question about opening up an account and was left waiting for over 10 minutes I ended up walking out. Please train your staff.
