We recently opened accounts with the assistance of 'Kaloni', she was very helpful in showing us how to install and use the apps. She regularly kept us up to date with progress on applications etc. via email and phone. Highly recommend.
ANZ should be voted as the worst bank. I have accounts with many banks but dealing with ANZ seems to be the worst. I phoned the bank regarding a fraudulent matter, was told to come to the branch, I arrived at 3.50pm, was told we are closing soon and cannot help you. They argued with me for 8 minutes and then said we closing in 2 minutes. The staff were so rude and told me to leave. Offcourse I was frustrated and told them straight but was told that I'm rude. I bought a car. This branch couldn't smoothly transfer funds to the dealer. The fraud section of the bank locked my accounts and froze my money. It took days to resolve, and I could not pick up my new car. Phone banking services were almost impossible over the weekend as well. Monumental incompetence, I'll be changing banks they have pissed me off so much.
Lack of service. Had to wait a week for a booking about a home loan anomaly.
