I recently tried Anytime Fitness Ponsonby as I am looking for an alternative close to my office. AF Ponsonby is clean, well maintained, and easy to train in. One of the biggest positives is that it never feels overly busy, so you can get through your sessions without waiting around or feeling crowded. Badel does a great job managing the club he is super helpful, approachable, and made the whole experience easy from the start. Great local 24hour gym. Management friendly. Never crowded with more than enough facilities. Clean, tidy and air conditioned. Would recommend.
