I just wanted to say that I've been loving the support and attitude of the staff and fellow gym members. Its definitely made me feel comfortable working out. Theres a good enough amount of equipment, I never feel like im lacking in any front The only thing ill say is that there arent many cables, so you may have to wait a sec for one during busy hours.
The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating.
I had a bit of rocky start with AF in Strathcona - it closed and reopened under new management. I stayed on to see what would happen. I was pleasantly surprised. The new operator turned things around quickly. I give credit to the manager Cali. She was pleasant, forthright, and made me feel comfortable that they were trying hard. I've been to a number of Anytime Fitness' and other workout facilities throughout BC and Alberta. While this Old Strathcona location has had rocky ownership, in August 2025 the people they got were excellent. You can tell the location manager, Cali, really cares in particular. She and the team improved an already great space and I was impressed to see her continually improve the location even more after that.
