Hi All So I just joined one week ago, and went through something very disturbing today. Normally when I do any sort of squats I prefer to to wear shoes as it’s better to have flat feet. I walked into the gym with birks on and was asked to go get enclosed shoes for safety purposes but was said I can take them off while squatting only. Went back home got my shoes and proceeded to take of them while only squatting. As I started the exercise the receptionist at the gym came and asked if she needs to repeat herself. Anytime Fitness Australia wide is a disgraceful company. Not necessarily this branch. But hey, if you get stuck you are screwed. Sign you up with a cooling off period. Then when their business starts going bankrupt, they send you to debt collectors. For money that you don't owe. You resolve the matter with the new gym owners. And they apologise for their mistake. It*s a nice clean and local gym. The workers are so lovely and easy to get along with . I do recommend it
