The gym is welcoming, clean, and non-intimidating. I highly recommend pairing up with a trainer. Wendy is knowledgeable, encouraging, supportive, and always greets everyone with a smile. She helps me make steady progress while keeping an eye on an old injury I was concerned about. If you’re looking for a gym that feels like a community and a trainer who genuinely cares about your goals, I can’t recommend this place and Wendy enough!
I travel up and down the east coast for work and I use a a few different gyms while I’m traveling. I use this gym when I’m in Raleigh and this is the friendliest and cleanest gym I have used anywhere. The weights are always in order and the machines are always working. The bathrooms and showers are extremely clean and well stocked and the staff greets me by name when I do visit.
There are plenty of gyms in the area to choose from. Why this one? 1) Service - the staff is available and willing to help with any questions or training; 2) Continuous improvement - this AF added a few new pieces of equipment this fall that enhances my workout routine. 3) Attention to detail - you'll never find worn or dirty equipment. Belonging to this gym has enhanced my life.
Spent years not working out and it showed physically and mentally. Decided it was time. Since I knew nothing about working out I decided I needed a personal trainer to teach me the proper way without getting hurt. Daniel not only has done that, but he pushes me and motivates me beyond what I would do on my own. Highly recommend Anytime Fitness on Sherron Road in Durham.
Wendy and Olivia keep me motivated and make the gym feel like home.
