What makes AF Oakhurst an enjoyable place to workout is the friendliness of staff, cleanliness and variety of machines to workout on. My favorite part is that you’re always greeted with a smile and hello upon entering, and everyone in the gym is friendly and welcoming. I’ve been working out here for 3 years and can’t imagine going anywhere else.
Ashley is an amazing manager! professional, friendly, and always going above and beyond for everyone at the gym. She truly cares about the members and makes sure everything runs smoothly. You can tell she takes pride in her work
Do not interact with any employee from this gym. First, they don’t go over EVERYTHING you’re signing probably expecting you to actually read over every detail of the contract. Sure I didn’t actually read everything myself, my fault for expecting the employee to do it for me, so I offered to pay the almost $300 buyout fee, I let them know when I’d be able to pay that she said okay. Do not buy a membership from this company. I first stopped by in person to cancel. It so happened the owner was there and was hassling me to stay. Harassing your consumers isn’t a nice look. Also, make sure to read the contracts they make you sign. They will NOT go over the important things with you like an “enhancement fee” which I had no clue about till I was charged $50. They also never mention they’re cancellation policies and will trick you to buying 12 month terms rather than 3 months or any smaller terms. Then they’ll... read more
