0 STARS — Misleading and Unethical Business Practices I’m extremely disappointed with Anytime Fitness in La Crescent, MN. I signed up because they were advertising a “$1 sign-up deal for new members” all I had to do was write down 10 contacts and pay $1 to join. The girl who signed me up made it sound like it was just a regular monthly membership, no mention of a contract or cancellation restrictions. Fast forward, due to financial hardship, loss of job, and two small kids to care for, I can’t afford this membership anymore.... read more
The pricing to add my kid to come work out a few times a month with me is Triple my monthly price.
Pretty good location to attend when not visiting the other ones in this area.
I paid the cancellation fee after relocation, I even provided a lease- my place is 70 miles from an Anytime fitness. They’re still hounding me for money, asking me to pay the cancellation fee AGAIN. To make matters worse I have a rotator cuff injury and am out of work for the time being. Completely unacceptable- go to unity fitness instead, they aren’t scumbags.
