If you go to the Anytime Fitness in Bayshore, be aware: the gym has severe water damage and a strong, mold-like odor that’s been there for months. When I reported it through normal channels, staff actually looked up my badge scans, figured out who I was, and confronted me in person telling me to stop because it “made them look bad.” That was the last straw — I’ve canceled my membership. People pay for a clean, safe place to work out, not to be harassed for speaking up about health hazards.

I’ve been a member of this gym for a while, but it’s been going downhill fast. Trash cans are left full of rainwater from leaks in the ceiling, and several ceiling tiles have fallen to the floor. The smell of mold is noticeable. One bathroom toilet was full of waste and wouldn’t flush—I even tried to fix it myself. Weights are never re-racked, dirty paper towels litter the floor, and cleanliness in general is lacking. 08/10/25 - After some rain on 08/08, the roof has collapsed above some gym equipment (dangerous!). The water has leaked into multiple light fixtures and from running fans. The smell of the gym is getting worse due to the continuous moisture. Trash cans that have been moved by gym members are almost filled with nasty roof water… Please fix this ASAP. 06/27/25 - Mathew is great and helped me set up a membership at the gym very quickly and easily.
