I don't think I've ever posted a low star review, but it feels appropriate from my experience with this gym. I have felt taken advantage of financially by this gym at times during my enrollment. (1) First, I tried to cancel my membership last year after moving away from Gunbarrel (I had been a member for 8 months). They would not let me cancel, requiring me to pay for the full 12 months, claiming this is what my contract stated. This gym was a pleasant surprise. It is bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. Jammed pack with good equipment in fine repair. I say jam packed but well spaced so it never feels crowded even on a busy Sunday morning. But, though they lack my favorite machine, the hack squat, the speed and heavy bags they have in the multipurpose area may in fact be the best I have seen in an Anytine Fitness before. I have been a member of Anytime Fitness in Gunbarrel for over 10 years and have witnessed several ownership changes. Under the current management, the gym is impeccably clean, and they consistently maintain up-to-date their equipment. While I've had the chance to visit other Anytime Fitness locations in Colorado, the Gunbarrel facility stands out for its spacious layout, featuring over 14 top-of-the-line Schwinn bikes for training, and a large area with wooden floor for yoga classes and training.
