Thank you for your response. I want to clarify that I had previously called in advance to pause my membership, and I was told it would be taken care of. Later, I was contacted while I was traveling, which made it difficult to handle things properly at the time. What really frustrated me was when the manager told me that my phone call to cancel — after I had already made the payment — was not valid, and that I had to send an email instead. I’m having a tough time canceling my membership. I was worried about this when reading reviews prior to joining. May 7th I turned in my key fob and signed the cancellation papers. May 20th I was charged for a membership I have canceled. Update: Tiran sent me text messages asking me to delete my review. Originally, when I had came in to cancel, in April, I told him I was a student and needed to cancel my membership for a while.
