Anyone have pointers on how to cancel a membership. Submitted a certified letter stating I wanted my membership cancelled and was told the request to cancel was denied

Paid daily while visiting family in Warren. Friendly staff, particularly the ever-present trainer. I always felt welcome.

Memeber’s get charged a “club enhancement fee” twice a year, in addition to bi-weekly memberships costs. The members never see a thing for it. Club enhancement my rear. Someone must use the funds to go on vacation because the members certainly don’t see anything in return for it.

Haven’t been there in years after my contract “expired” and still to this day am getting charged. Online and the website doesn’t help and when you go in to talk to your local club. You get told oh it’s canceled you’re all good. Only to get slapped with another charge 2 weeks later. Like I literally left for basic training and was still getting charged the entire time after my agreement expired.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO THIS. Anytime fitness is a terrible company and an absolute scam. Sure the equipment is alright and they are open 24 hours of the day, but the contract is a scam and so is cancellation of the contract. This is the worst gym membership I’ve ever owned and I highly recommend any other gym membership over this one. Over priced for what they offer and never got anything new even though they charge you 2 yearly fees for “new equipment” that you won’t ever see. Scam.
