I dont go here, I just did a tour. It reminds me of the gym I had in our wrestling room; enough equipment to get a lift in, stinks like sweat, and no frills. I like these types of places causes you wont have 20 teenagers standing by the bench press and its dirt cheap cause you arent paying for a pool/sauna/basketball court/etc. Then I found out its $40 a month. 24 hour/LA fitness is cheaper and you get more, it just doesnt make sense to go here. 1 star because owner is unhinged both in person and online

Gym has everything you need. However- Bathrooms: After someone showers the entire floor will be wet majority of the time. Can cause an accident and then it's just straight humid in there. Including the seats inside to change so if you plan on showering after someone just got out expect your bags to be wet if you set them down. Upstairs: AC/Ventilation absolutely sucks. Pay so much money amount and still made to pay a mandatory annual upkeep to have broken equipments. They closed for more than a week with no notice for a “remodel” and after a week same broken equipments and with fresh coat of paint. Still charged me for the whole month. We need more ab machines please. No wonder there are not as much members after the “remodel”: people were expecting better options and newer equipments. $10/month gyms have better options and newer equipments. I came to San Marcos from Orange County for business and needed a gym for just one week. Found Anytime Fitness on Mission Rd on Google, called ahead, and specifically asked if I could pay daily without membership. The guy on the phone said no problem, around five dollars per day, simple and straightforward. I show up in person, and suddenly the whole story changes.
