Terrible experience. I signed up for a no-contract membership at Anytime Fitness Beaumont, expecting flexibility. I was never told about a required 30-day notice to cancel. When the gym shut down in April, I got an email saying my membership would be terminated unless I transferred. I didn’t transfer — but 3 months later, I was charged again because a new owner reopened the gym and reactivated my frozen membership. Big shoutout to the Manager at this location—seriously, thank you! My membership was mysteriously terminated and I hadn’t been able to get into the gym since May 1st. I called in thinking, “Well, maybe there’s hope?” and she made it happen! She rewrote my membership and got me back on track like it was no big deal. I do miss my trusty little FOB, but I get that the new access pass is the way of the future. Either way, I’m just happy to be back in the gym. Thanks again for the help and for being awesome to deal with!

I was originally just going to leave a quiet 5-star review, but after reading the one-star ones about “being charged for cancellation,” I figured I should speak up for the Staffs. It’s unfair to bash staff for simply doing their job and following policy. I’ve been a member at several gyms over the years. • Planet Fitness has a 30-day cancellation policy. • GoodLife also has a cancellation clause, and I had to pay $634.24 just to cancel. • Anytime Fitness clearly states that cancellations require 30 days’ written notice. I want to shout out the staff at Anytime Fitness Beaumont for actually listening to feedback and making changes that show they care. The new layout feels way more open and easier to move around in, and the overall vibe has really improved since the new management came in. It’s a clean, comfortable place to work out, and it’s nice to see a gym that’s genuinely trying to make things better for its members.
