John is an excellent host, not only was helpful in getting the week pass set up easily, gave a great overview of the town and all things going on. The gym is great, has everything you could need at a right price and available 24 hours so you really can’t beat it or ask for more. Exceptionally close to the mountain condo area as well.

Best place in Steamboat to get a workout in. Rarely a wait to get the equipment you need, and I love the turf area for getting my mobility and more dynamic workouts in.

This place is great: open 24 hours, with everything an aerobic or strength athlete could want to train hard: a variety of treadmills, bikes, ergs, a ski-erg, even a versa-climber, a platform, bumpers, roller sled, lots of racks, a trap bar with high handles, you name it. Also friendly staff, great service, convenient location. The early hours are crucial for anyone who wants to get the training in before hitting the slopes.
