Dr. Houston is a great clinician. I have known Dr. Holly O. Houston for the past 35 years, harkening back to graduate school at Loyola University, on the north side of Chicago. We were mentored by some of the same professors in clinical psychology, such as Dr. Roderick W. ; I have seen several therapists through the years, but have never made as much progress as I have working with Ellen Spiese. I was able to schedule an appointment with her quickly after my first call. Ellen is incredibly compassionate and caring and has helped me to discuss life stressors and how to navigate them better. I would recommend Ellen or any of the therapists and the Anxiety and Stress center for anyone looking for mental health services.
My experience with Anxiety and Stress Center has been wonderful. I was able to get a prompt call back and was able to schedule an appointment with a therapist the same week. My therapist has been very caring and supportive and has helped me to process some stressors and trauma that I have experienced. I felt better after just the first meeting. I would highly recommend the Anxiety and Stress center for anyone who is looking for professional and compassionate care.
