First of all, they had me choose what therapy to do, instead of the doctor telling me what kind of therapy I should do. I tried EMDR when I asked for it and it literally ended up giving me psychosis and landing me in the hospital for a month. And even now a 2 years later I’m still scarred from it. EMDR caused me to have non-stop flash backs of my traumatic memories. Note that this was $350 a session.
