It’s because of doctors like Dr. Rode and her team, I stay at Scripps, despite moving out of San Diego. I’ve had good experiences with all of the doctors at Scripps, but I feel especially grateful to have been referred to Dr. Rode. She is very knowledgeable, very attentive, and I feel like I’m always in good hands with her.

Dr. Rode is wonderful. I found her through The Menopause Society & she truly listens, treats my symptoms, and explains everything clearly. Perimenopause has been a rollercoaster, and I still have ups and downs, but I can’t imagine how I’d feel without HRT. She adjusts treatment when needed, and she is always responsive through the "My Scripps app". I feel supported, heard, and cared for. The customer service for this practice is HORRIBLE. After being a patient for many years, I tried many times over the last year to book an appointment within a window of time that worked for my schedule. Each time they were fully booked. I asked when the calendar opened to book in advance and was given an approximate date. I called every 2 weeks until the calendar opened over a couple of months, only to then be told that I am outside of the 3 year visit window so Dr Rode will no longer see me. I have had a great experience with Dr. Rode! Her and all of the staff at the Scripps in Oceanside are very kind and patient, and make sure you’re comfortable. Dr. Rode recently replaced my IUD and dare I say, it was almost painless. I was so worried for nothing. I would definitely recommend seeing her! And special shoutout to my nurse, Isabel - she was great too!
