Following up with some more photos from a review posted a few months ago. Very happy with the result.
I am building a house in Oakland and used Romain as the architect. We some very challenging design criteria and he was able to meet them and provided good suggestions for fixes. Also he was very fast at responding to comments from the planning and building departments during the review process.
Anura Design and Roman have provided us with an incredible experience designing an ADU. From the initial consultation and site visit, Roman gave us ideas, advice and architectural knowledge on our property and how an ADU could best fit. It is intended to be wheelchair friendly and Roman has great knowledge per ADA regulations. They kept us informed with current progress as well as updating us on next steps and are very quick with communication. We recently embarked on a remodel journey. We are very happy to have met Romain through our contractor (Century Bay Builders). We would highly recommend Romain to friends and family. He has a talent to visualize the space and maximize utilization and function. As we walked through our property, Romain was able to understand our needs and desires and put it into blueprint. We are very excited to bring his renderings to life.
Working with Anura Design was awesome. They were very helpful, patient and professional throughout my remodel. They were especially great during construction, responding diligently to my builder's questions whenever he reached out to them. I highly recommend them.
