I have been going to VAPFW for many years. My initial doctor was Alexis Bachrach and she relocated a few years ago. I was definitely concerned about establishing a good relationship with another doctor after she left. Dr Zavelsky is the absolute BEST! Very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and also very compassionate. I always look forward to seeing her for my appointments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I typically see Dr Tuckey-Larus, but her schedule and mine made that difficult. This time I saw Dr Zavelsky and loved her. Both have great bedside manner, knowledgeable, present info in a clear and concise manner, give time to answer any questions, care about your comfort—all the things you want in an ob/gyn. Dr Tuckey-Larus is a bit more of a joke around to help ease your nerves (which I love) type, and Dr Zavelsky is more general chitchat to ease your nerves (which I also love).
