Stopped in for a quick bite and the pizza was super amazing!! We got the meat lovers and added meatballs= deliciousness. The house dressing is just enough sweet and tangy and super well dressed. We will make a point to stop here anytime through Alturas! Come check out the pizzas they are delicious.
Salad was good, blue cheese was delicious. Entree was bleak, uninspired, and depressing. The worst food I've had in my life. I ordered the chicken Marsala. it was a pile of black olives onions and bell peppers concealing a piece of chicken breast, atop a tongs worth of linguine. It was all swimming in at least a cup of olive oil if not more. No seasoning, no wine sauce. There must have been an entire can of sliced black olives in total, what the hell. They have great pizza, but their service is horrible and the owner/boss is very rude. Went to dinner around 2 o’clock and was denied an alcoholic beverage. He made up a rule out of nowhere that alcohol isn’t served until five AS the server was about to serve ME A Beer. He was very loud to the workers and rude to his own employees. No wonder no one wants to work there. I had to put a review because that’s bad experience was just when the boss/owner was there. Even his employee have to correct his attitude.
After spending all afternoon in the cold, our baseball team went to this restaurant for pizza. We were asked to wait outside, even though only 3 tables were occupied. They refused to let us wait inside until they cleaned off a table. NOTE: multiple tables were empty but full of leftovers. Staff was extremely rude! Considering we’re out of town and placed here for baseball we were hoping for more friendly atmosphere. Extremely disappointing!! Will never come back or recommend!
Pizza is awesome and if you ask they will make it with thin crust. We come to Alturas every 6 months and are never disappointed. The owner Stan is a stand up guy. The day we were scheduled to leave our transmission went out in our work van. We depleted our bank account ordering parts and were facing having to stay in our work van overnight until the parts came in. Stan offered us transportation, a place to stay and a free meal if we needed it. Who does that nowadays! There are no words to describe what a wonderful man he is ... read more
