Dr Carls was the first one to actually look at the ultrasounds himself and was able to finally tell me why something was happening. I’ve had this problem for years and always put off the necessary surgery because no one would tell me why. Now my surgery is scheduled and I’m thankful he found the why. I’m thankful he took the extra time with me to look for it and answer every single one of my questions. Highly recommend Dr Carls!
I've had a lot of my concerns dismissed, specific nurses in typical fashion be forceful, and it was not my favorite experience. I would have preferred my own doctor for care but he took leave. I wouldn't recommend this particular institution for gynecology based referrals. It was not favorable by any means. Wasn't a big fan of the ultrasound tech whacking me with the machine to get a response from the fetus. Didn't like the lack of transparency for 80% of the time I received care. I appreciated that Elles Niessen was very patient with me while I asked my questions. Pregnancy brain hits so much harder 3rd trimester and I never felt rushed. She helped me develop a plan for my last few weeks of pregnancy which was a huge weight off my mind. Love this OBGYN office!
