She's been consistently wonderful for over 20 years. Seeing me through my ups and downs. Listening attentively. Lately, we only were able to have telehealth appointments but she was attentive all the same. Thanks.
I’m very happy with her as a doctor. I think she is very good at the science and art of medicine. I find her understanding of woman issues. She is a supportive doctor of careers and family life. She has maintained my seizures and kept them under control. I like that she is willing to experiment herself with diet to understand how diets affect patients.
Dr. Balabanov is the most caring physician I have ever met. Anyone is lucky to be in her care.
I think she is overwhelmed with work and life stuff. We were a good team before. She decided that I should see another neurologist. I don’t know why.
My niece (from Rockford) has seen Dr Balabanov for several years. Prior to seeing Dr. B, my niece had so many seizures that she was in and out of the ER several times a month. She is only in the ER a couple times a year now. Dr. B is very patient, listens to her patients, does a great job of adjusting meds and makes sure that not only are you seizure free but that your quality of life is good. My niece travels 1.5 hours by bus to see her. Highly recommend her.
Very friendly and helpful. Dr. Balabanov wasn't my first doctor with this group; however, when my doctor did leave, I requested her. I always felt at ease with her and that she truly listened to me when I believed I was having a problem. Always felt good when I left. I recently moved near Atlanta and I don't believe I will find a doctor like her.
Dr Balabanov truly cares about the patient. My Daughter has been seeing her for several years, and we would highly recommend her. She truly cares for her patients well being and is just a wonderful doctor.
