Grandpa’s cabin is really nice. The hot tub is excellent. The deck looks new. The kitchen, living room are nice. I would give this cabin four or five stars, but I gave it a three because it has a problem that could have been addressed and that is the amount of flies that are in the upper deck coming in through the upper twin bedroom window and they all came down to lower floor. Upon arrival we were disappointed with where the private pond is located for Grandpa's Cabin. I had assumed it would be closer, the description on the website doesn't state that it's a bit of a walk down a steep hill which walking back up was a challenge, especially if you have some health issues like we do. The Cabin was Very Disappointing. As far as the on the surface clean, it was Clean. The Deep Cleaning was Very Disappointing. The couches and pillows on the couches Stunk Very Badly. When you walk into the Cabin you are Immediately Faced with a Stench Of a Musty Dirty Smell. The cabin is Lacking Lights and to fine to light switch’s for the ones they do have is a scavenger hunt. Absolutely amazing! I stayed at Tranquility cabin and there are too many things to list about my stay! First off, the communication from Bridgette before my stay was absolutely amazing and I cannot thank her enough for taking the time to make sure all my questions were answered! Second off, the comfort of the cabin itself was indescribable. I was nicely surprised by the towel animal (turtle? bear?) left on the kitchen counter, but also the amount of dishware and kitchen supplies was more than expected!
