Have been a client for 10 years and have found the frames to be of high quality, unique and large inventory. As an art collector of oil paintings APFLTD has been a wonderful source of excellent period frames and fair prices. The service has been solid and the owner Jim Maryanski has been super to work with. Very lucky to have them here in the Chicago area. JBB

Buyer beware!! I have collected frames from the first half of the 20th century for over 25 years. Purchased a frame from Antique Picture Frames Ltd, based on one picture, a description and their reputation. Big mistake! The frame looked little like the picture, which was taken with flash and did not represent the finish accurately. Description stated circa 1920, clearly wrong by decades. After receiving the frame, the owner would not take it back, stating erroneously that the frame was a "quality frame". It is a cheaply made... read more
