I had a great experience hiring Sylvain to repair a join on a vintage teak desk (broken in a move). Accessible pricing, excellent work, and transparent communication. I’d definitely recommend working with him if you want a low-stress resolution when a valued furniture item breaks!
When my vintage bar chest was delivered by the movers almost completely broken from the outside, I was so worried it wouldn't be reparable. However Sylvain was able to do a magnificent job on all the complex joinery on the outside and repaired the piece to a state even better than once I had originally purchased it! He kept me updated on the status and charged a respectable price, I would highly recommend calling him.
Sylvain is an absolute master of his craft. I had him repair a very valuable antique dresser from Ralph Lauren. Let me tell you not only was he confident he could fix it, but indeed did a damn good job on short notice. Thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and outstanding work!
