A great affordable place to have your dog boarded! My Mom always took her dog to this vet and when she died and we inherited the dog, I continued to take him there. When we go on vacation we have to have this dog boarded as he cannot be left alone for long. They only charged $12.50 per day and that included food. They take him out of the kennel periodically and exercise him. I paid a little extra to have him bathed the day before we got home and I think that was another $10. These people make it possible for us to go on vaca... read more

Excellent, immediate care We were passing through Antioch when our dog Larry developed a skin infection on his tail. I called them around 5:00 PM and they told us we could come in that evening, but we might have a long wait since we didn't have an appointment. I elected to wait for an appointment the next morning. The vet saw us on schedule, diagnosed the problem, treated Larry, and sent us on our way with medication. We left town that day. The vet called us a couple days later to make sure Larry was doing OK.

Compasionate, Professional & Diligent! When our Great Pyrenees began choking we took him right in to the vet. Although he seemed fine by the time we got there, the Vet recommended that we have his Senior Panel done as he was nearing age 7. After the lab work was done, I received a call that was totally unexpected - he was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocitic Leukemia (CLL) and the prognosis wasn't good. We're now into month 6 of his initial diagnosis and thankfully, Barney's in remission thanks to all the hard work, quick resp... read more

Couldn't ask for a better DVM We have been customers of Antioch Vet Hospital since we moved into Antioch in 1994. They are always very professional and honestly care about your animal. Dr. Panduro walked us through the end of 2 of our dogs lives (one due to old age, the other cancer) with sympathy and compassion. She has since treated our 2 "new" family members in their puppyhoods and beyond. Very nice, very professional, and she honestly loves animals.

Friendly staff, great hours. The doctors here are knowlegeable and friendly. They are always happy to answer my questions, so I don't need to feel silly asking things. While I haven't needed them, I know they offer high tech services, like laser surgery, and I think that's great. They are the only place around here that I know of open on Sundays, and they are also open in the evening so I can get an appointment after work. Their fees are reasonable, and the charges are always explained to me so I can decide.

Neutering was not done properly I went to neuter my dog once he was 6 months. They neutered him and he was sent home with a Collar. But, the quality of the collar was very poor, got broke within hours. The dog started licking the incision and finally he got very sick. Then, I went again, and they said the dog licked the incision so got infected. They cleaned up and again charged around $180. When I complain about bad collar, they said nothing can be done. Finally he got healed. So, I still think the first time when he had th... read more
