RecommendedBooked an 8-mile trip for two people. The 12-foot sit-in kayaks were perfect for us. The water is very nice, sedate level 1 with a little bit of level II to make things a little more fun, still perfectly safe for children or families. We were over an hour late for the takeout, but the super-friendly bus driver had waited for us. Good value at the weekday rate. We would book with them again.
Greg was wonderful to us. Fiancé and I were from out of state and didn’t realize he didn’t take credit cards, only PayPal. I wasn’t able to download there due to poor cell service. He trusted us to send payment, which I just did once I got cell service back at the hotel. Met some amazing human beings today. Still good people in this world!!
Had SUCH a great experience with Greg and kayaking on Antietam Creek! He is super nice and accommodating. Stopped by on Monday for the first time, went back on Wednesday, and a few of us are planning on going back on Saturday! We have only done the 8 mile trip and with a more relaxed pace it has taken us 4.5-5 hours to complete! It easily could be completed sooner but I personally enjoy kayak tanning and a very long lunch break lol. Owner is very kind and knowledgeable. Very flexible and gave us the history of the area. Creek tubing was exactly as described. Perfect day, gorgeous scenery and he picked us up right on time. Great service with a friendly atmosphere.
