If fresh ingredients are at the core of our menu, coal fired flavor is at the heart of who we are. We use only the highest quality ingredients, including hand-picked Italian tomatoes for our sauce, vine-ripened plum tomatoes for our salads, Pecorino Romano grated in house, fresh vegetables and herbs and homemade dough. Then everything served hot, including our signature pizzas, are cooked at 900 degrees in our coal fired oven for a distinct and delicious taste. Jack the new manager added live music this Thursday. What an awesome addition to an already awesome place. This added such a homely feeling the the restaurant. I hope they continue the tradition. Reminds me of the old Anthony's in Florida. Kudos to Jack for venturing out and trying something new and innovative and adding a new vibe to the restaurant. UPDATE: We gave this location another try via GrubHub and I have to give them 5 Stars***. Ordered a Create your own 12" with Mushrooms, Ricotta, Extra sauce and Basil and I will tell you it is the absolute best brick oven pizza I have had anywhere in New York!
