My mother had a lens placed in one eye. After he put the lens in, she now has zero vision in that eye. We expressed our concern with his assistant afterward but the doctor never followed up.
I've accompanied my mother on her cataract journey which included pre-operative visits, surgery, and multiple post-op visits. I found Dr. Evangelista to be wonderful. Each time we met with him I was amazed at how he wasn't rushed, instead he was very thorough, got to know my mom, her situation, and how best to help her. Please do not go to this doctor!!! My mother had cataracts surgeries done by Dr Anthony Evangelista, the doctor has never followed up with her after the surgeries and worse than that, he didn’t prescribe Antibiotics to use after the surgeries, her left eye got inflamed and turned into red color, the inflammation deformed the back of her eye and will never come back to normal, we went back 3 times to the Eye Centers and we insisted to see Dr Evangelista, but they sent different doctors to check on her eye, the last time we me... read more
