This was written 10/15/25 not 2 yrs ago. Had appt.with Dr. Pellegrino today at 1PM. Drove 2 hrs. Ran into road construction. Called at 12:40 to let them know I would be 1/2 hr. late. Girl that answered phone took my name, date of birth, phone number and told me she would get the message to his receptionist. When I got there at 1:30, she told me he would not see me and I needed to reschedule. I asked to speak to him. He wouldn't. I was referred to his Office Manager. Him and his lovely staff are great!
During my recent visit, I arrived late because I had to help my mother, who has serious breathing issues. I explained this to the doctor, but I felt the response I received was dismissive and lacked understanding of our situation. I believe that healthcare interactions should reflect compassion and empathy, especially when patients are dealing with health-related challenges.
