I feel it was inexcusable for Dr Meloy to just disappear and leave us hanging!!! No response from his answering service (his brother). Could not refill prescriptions!! So angry!!!
Listen, I don't know anything about the other reviews people have left for Dr Meloy, but my experience is totally different. While I'm not treated by him directly, my prescriptions from Eustasis are sent to him for approval and he is always extremely diligent about getting them approved and sent to the pharmacy very quickly. Other doctors usually take 5-7 days to get this done, but Dr. Meloy almost always gets it done literally within hours of it being sent over to him (he's even done this after-hours on a Friday evening bef... read more
If I could give negative stars I wouldn't hesitate! I would not recommend anyone to take their health care needs to this Dr. I tried explaining my health issues and was totally blown off. I went in sick and left feeling worse. I tried mentioning it again and was just met with an "ok". I have a chronic condition which was also blown off as not important for this visit.
Will not be returning, the treatment was horrible. Both medically and bedside manner.
When I told him about immediate family medical history that was directly related to what I was being treated for, he told me to "stop chasing unicorns". Wrote a prescription for a medicine that was listed in my chart under allergies. Wrote a prescription for another med that I had told him needed prior authorization from insurance, refused to change it. When I was right, and the nurse couldn't convince the pharmacist to break policy, said he couldn't change the med because I was already discharged. He shirks any and all resp... read more
