Horrible provider. I saw him multiple times because I had no other options, and it only got worse. He didn’t listen, regularly talked over me, and, worst of all, dismissed my concerns about serious side effects I was having. Thank goodness I got a second opinion.

I was a trainee of Dr Mascola's many years ago. He is amazing. I observed and learned from him in many patient encounters and even though it's been many years, to this day he stands out in my memory as one of the most caring, genuine, straightforward, and really evidence-based and effective psychiatrists I was privileged to work with and learn from. If you have the chance to work with him, don't pass it up.

I only saw him once and won't go back again. He seemed to be in a rush in my session, and did not listen to what I was saying. His comment in the end did not apply to my condition. I had to go to another psychiatrist for another session and wasted money and time with him. But I am glad he was bad in the first session, instead of going for a few times to find out.

Would give 0 star if I could. Very uncaring and offers ineffective treatment. He does not listen to patients but rather impose his own thoughts and force the patient to accept. If he cannot get his way, he starts to get irritated and gives comments in an inappropriate and disrespectful way. He constantly bloats about a fake experience of working at a stellar hospital in the past, which I found out only after I read his profile

A very caring, compassionate, psychiatrist that really wants the best for his patients. One of the most knowledgeable physicians I’ve ever known. His CBT skills really help and empower individuals to overcome mental illness.
