I learned to snowboard here growing up and it's fun to return for pizza and beer in the summer sunshine. Starbottle cafe is the perfect ending to a hike/bike/morning at the lake with friends. Pizza is thin, chewy, fire-grilled and delicious, and there's no spot more beautiful than the Elkhorns. Snow here is known for being fluffy and beautiful in the winter and the best powder day of my life was at Anthony Lakes in the early 2000s. Small resort but with tons of variety and access to back country.
Just went for a drive in June. Beautiful area
Great place to camp or just visit, take a walk around the lake.
