Extremely capable MOHS Surgeon. Bedside manner is the best I have ever experienced.
We are so lucky to have such an excellent Dr. available to us here in Sun Lakes. Wonderful bedside manner. He listens to your concerns and takes time to explain so you are confident to go ahead with your procedure. I am so very pleased with the outcome of my Mohs surgery on my nose. Excellent Doctor...Tremendous bedside manner...Very thorough...Explains things very well and in terms that are easily understood! Highly recommended!
Dr. Petelin is compassionate and respectful. He and his associate talk the patient through every step of the procedure (in my case, MOHs). They were very sweet and funny, alert to any signals of pain or discomfort. Dr. Petelin also takes the time to minimize scarring, sensitive to how the patient will see themselves and be seen, post-op. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Dyson, my dermatologist here in Tucson, and this amazing surgeon, who works out of her office on every other Thursday.
I had a very difficult cancer that was very close to the main nerves in my foot. Dr Petelin explained what could happen so I was very aware. He is a kind and friendly doctor who appears to have his clients as his number one priority.
Very rude and arrogant. Rushed through the office visit. Didn't listen to my concerns.
Dr. Petelin removed a basil cell, about the size of my thumb nail, from the side of my face and there was very little or no pain during or after the procedure, and the scar is invisible after the stitches were removed.
