I was a patient of Dr. Donatelli for about two years after moving to the Palm Harbor area. All of my interactions with the Doctor and his staff were pleasant and professional. Dr. Donatelli listened to me and provided excellent medical service. I recently moved away from the area, and I have a new patient appointment scheduled with a new PCP, but I had a blood pressure medication run out with no refills available. Just like another review about a week prior... new patient. I went through all the hoops, helping them find my insurance, add Dr Donatelli to my insurance, and book an appointment a month out. Then upon arrival I'm informed they aren't taking new patients and someone supposedly called me a week ago to turn me away. Who called and where's the message they should have left? who knows, they don't. ZERO STARS IS WHAT THEY DESERVE BUT I AM FORCED ON THIS SITE TO GIVE 1 STAR !!!!! I cannot even begin to express how disgusted I am with this office and this group. Highly unethical practice. I have never had so many issues than with Dr. DONATELLI. The foundation to medicine is to abide by the hypocratic oath to treat patients who are in need. Instead DR. DONATELLI is driven by MONEY and GREED. I made a normal yearly visit appointment which is provided through insurance. DR. DONATELLI then proceeds to speak to you in a friendly tone about unrelated subjects and then BILL your insurance and you for a specialists visit for services he did not perform. Office staff and assistants were kind, professional and accommodating - could not ask for better experience with staff. Dr. Donatelli was very nice in person, but offered very poor quality of care. I sympathize with other reviews that state they waited forever for him to follow up with bloodwork or diagnosis. I had the same experience. When I had not heard back from him, I checked the portal for information. MANY, MANY mistakes on my chart to include missed allergies, wrong surgeries and factual errors.
