I have gone to Dr. Campo for 20 years and my family members as well. I have had some “normal” kinds of skin issues and some serious issues as well. I must say that he is very thorough during exams. I appreciate this as that is the whole reason I go to him! If I didn’t want my skin checked, I wouldn’t go to a dermatologist! The most important reason why I go to him and not another doctor is he is one of the best diagnosticians that I have ever worked with. My insurance switched for a while and I had to switch to a different d... read more

Dr. Campo has diagnostic things that other doctors have missed.

Dr Campo does not mess around or take things lightly. He is aggressive in his treatment and especially in dermatology where it’s easy to not diagnose you want a doctor that does not mess around

I am a 22 year old fair-skinned female with a history of mild acne. When Dr. Campo did a skin cancer check, he examined me EVERYWHERE (including rectum and vagina) without any gloves. I went months later for an irritated pimple that wouldn't go away. I was seeking an cortisone injection or ointment. Instead, he did a biopsy of the PIMPLE, claiming it could be cancer. He didn't even tell me me what he was doing until afterwards. He then wanted to give me stitches. No medication--still won't heal

in july i had an appt. with the dr, because my fingernails on my left hand was turning colors. the dr, 1st treated me for psoriasis on my feet. he wrote a prescription, which cost me $365, ans sent me to get blood work and if the test showed up ok, he would prescribe lamisil for my fingernails. the receptions gave me the wrong test, and i had to go back again the test came back good, and the nurse said she put my file on his desk for review no one has called. suppose i have cancer. shld i just d

An elderly lady who is near the end of her life is being treated continually for cancerous and pre cancerous growths . He doesnt stop! Let the woman have peace . She is scared and keeps going back when he should just let her live out her last days without pain and suffering. I would never recommend anyone go to this dr. Years ago, another friend of mine had a tattoo removed and he hacked her up badly.

Dr. Campo is a good dermatologist, but his primary motivation seems to be to perform as many treatments as possible, as many times a year as possible. I first went there for one concern, which was handled well, but then he treated me for twenty additional precancerous growths. Then he scheduled me for another exam in four months and lo and behold, he found another 20 or so precancerous growths. This went on for two years. He is milking the system at government and insurers expense.
