Dr. Romeo performed 4 surgeries on my shoulders when he was with Midwest Orthopedic at Rush and DULY. My last surgery was a reverse right shoulder replacement. I was left with not being able to lift my right arm and since I am right handed, this has crippled me. He referred me to a nerve transplant doctor, who was very knowledgeable, explained the procedure (which was extreme) and he was honest enough to tell me he didn’t think it would be successful. My husband had a reverse shoulder replacement in 12/12. Unfortunately, his shoulder was installed too far forward and has caused him years of agony and multiple dislocations, with two just in the last few months. This post surgery diagnosis was confirmed by Mayo Clinic. My advice, find another Doctor!
October 3 of 2023 I had a reverse total replacement on my left shoulder and it was fabulous. I need to find Dr. Anthony Romeo👨⚕️ to get my Right shoulder done I need another reverse replacement. Any help as to where he is I would love. I would see him immediately. I had the best results ever. He told me I was his best reverse replacement patient. ❤️❤️❤️
Dr Romeo did a labrum repair in February on my right shoulder that a doctor in Peoria did not do correctly. Dr Romeo quit the practice that he was at without any notice before I was even healed. I had to find out through a nurse practitioner whom would not refer me to another doctor unless they worked for the same medical facility. Pathetic
I’m in the middle of my treatment right now and Dr Anthony Romeo canceled my treatment and quit the practice without any explanation. I’m now trying to find a solution to my rotator cuff tear that a different surgeon that will be available to help me and find the best solution.
