Very poor care. I told staff today that my friend in memory "care" (she fell two days ago) needed pain meds, and they just disappeared. So many stories, but this is the most recent. Poor staffing, so much turnover. It's gotten worse since a new Corp. bought them. Don't bring your loved ones here.
Anthem Lakes is a gem. If you are looking for support, comfort, and a safe lifestyle for yourself or a loved one- Anthem is the place. Reasonably priced for the market as well as comparable to what one is looking for in senior living. And the grounds- breathtaking. The staff is kind, considerate, and attentive to the residents needs. Truly a breath of fresh air. If you have not toured this lovely community please do so. You will not be disappointed. They wouldn't put any side rails up and my daughter fell out of the bed and hit the wall had a brain bleed and she died from that at 38 years old with five children. My daughter would ring her Bell and sometimes people wouldn't come for a long time and when she fell out of bed they still didn't come for a while even though her neighbor kept pressing the button for someone to come but it took them a while and at that point she was still breathing but nobody did anything about it. My mother has only been at Anthem for about a month, and while she usually takes some time to adjust to anything new, she seems to be settling in quite nicely. Thank you Heather for the dotting i's and crossing t's portion and knowing how to calm a weary soul! The campus is beautiful and the staff, particularly Sheila, have been caring and responsive. Everyone is friendly and the staff takes the time to interact with the residents. So far I am very happy with the decision to move to Anthem.
